I regularly come across yet another rant or lament about antisemitism. It’s all I can do to obey the Lord and not climb up on my soapbox to set everyone straight. Yeshua always tells me, “Not now.” I get the impression it’s in the same league as street corner preaching—often rude or worse.
He did that to me again tonight. The only thing I did differently is ask Him if I could write a short essay about it for the Biblical Reality Substack. To my surprise, He seemed enthusiastic about me doing that. So, here I am—trusting He’ll show me what to write. My contextual understanding is that antisemitism is basically a prophecy problem. Yes, I’m serious.
It all started in Genesis 3. The serpent/dragon smoothly overran Eve’s understanding with His lies—and Adam failed to protect his wife, though he was clearly standing there. God was upset and placed a curse on all three parties. The first and strongest curse was leveled at the one we call the Evil One. In verse 15:
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your seed and her seed;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”
& so began Satan’s antisemitism campaign
Of course, this was far before Enoch, Noah, and Abraham. So, the Creep began by getting Cain to kill Abel. The Evil One saw that Abel was the woman’s seed that he needed to worry about. His thoughts were evidently that if he could kill the seed, then he would thwart the crushing of his head.
He evidently was convinced that the problem was solved, or at least he had enough people to use coming from Cain’s seed. They were into sin, so that worked well for our enemy. But then God killed off all his people, only saving Noah and his wife, and their children.
THEN CAME ABRAHAM AND SARAH…
That was bad enough, but when God killed off Sodom and Gomorrah the dragon realized that he had a real problem on his hands. He knew that Josef was a problem, but that backfired. But he got them locked up in the Nile delta in forced servitude—that should eliminate them as a threat.
He had a problem with Moses, but at least he was being raised as the Pharaoh’s adopted grandson. Moses would get taught all the lies. But then God delivered all the people of Abraham from Egypt with power. Then He made a covenant with the people of Abraham. The dragon was livid.
Satan’s mission was killing the seed
And he finally succeeded. He got it done, by getting the Romans to kill the seed. He was absolutely enraged when Yeshua was resurrected. He pushed the Jews into antagonizing the Romans to the place where they came and destroyed Jerusalem, killed huge numbers of Jews, and took the rest of them as slaves. With that problem solved, he perverted the followers of Yeshua, getting them to reject their Jewish influence. Most importantly, he got them to get rid of the prophetic hope.
It became relatively easy to get the Christians minimized with a huge institutional church which quickly cut out all the life from the Holy Spirit and rejected the prophetic. He had no problem with religion. He controlled the world system, which now controlled the powerless church.
But then Yeshua revived the church
Do you have any concept of how upset Satan is now? His only hope is if He can kill all the Jews. It will look like he succeeds once he gets his seed ruling the earth. But then we’ll follow our Messiah down to thwart the enemy again. Yeehaw!
